This is one area where the organization can harness its accumulated learning and technical expertise to empower people to live better lives. The Grameen Bank project in Bangladesh is a live example of the power of information at play in transforming rural economies. However, having said this, we need to follow a slightly different set of rules to make these services a success. The rural folk have a distinct consumer behaviour, which varies from one circle to other. The company would do well to analyse these markets at a micro-level and then present services, which fit into the rural psyche.
